Here at Elementary V Watson HQ, things are about to get very busy. If you’ve been following us on social media, you’ll know that 2019 has already been a whirlwind of writing, workshops and events but we’re fairly certain that that will pale into insignificance when Victoria’s baby is born.

With this in mind, Elementary V Watson will be on maternity leave until further notice. We are incredibly proud of what what we’ve managed to build over the last seven years and fully intend to workshops, events and editing when the time is right. For the next few months, though, the focus is going to be getting our new arrival settled. This is going to be a completely new adventure – and we can’t wait.

We’d like to thank everyone who’s made Elementary V Watson a success so far: from the proprietors of the establishments who’ve hosted our workshops and events, people who have shared their expertise with us and have provided us with opportunities, North Tyneside Libraries – in particular Clare Pepper. But, most of all, we’d like to thank our clients. Whether you’ve allowed us to appraise your manuscript, personal statement or CV, ¬†attended our workshops or events, you have made running Elementary V Watson one of our greatest achievements.

There’s been no greater professional pleasure for us than seeing writers improve their craft, increase in confidence and forge friendships and connections with their fellow writers. Thank you for allowing us to be part of it.

The out of office is on and, from now, we won’t be accepting new work until further notice. Please check out Facebook and Twitter pages for further updates. We haven’t decided on a definite return date, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you. When we’re ready to return, there will be updates on social media and this very site.

In the meantime, keep writing!
